The logo¶
VCAP stands for "Virtuoso Capital" - its co-founders designed its logo in 2020 - borrowing elements from equity candlesticks,a piano keyboard, and a golden shield.
Our Belief¶
We are a tight-knit team of motivated individuals (and casual music enthusiasts, mostly piano and violin players) inspired by the virtuoso musicians, such as Liszt or Hahn.
We are firm believers in the power of deliberate practice in any field of specialization, and strive to become the perfect our crafts with this philosophy.
The vcap 0day project was first started around 2016 by Mike & Dean focusing only on capital markets, but has sinced then expanded to Cybersecurity and Deep Learning.

Mike has worked in Technology, Financial Risk Management, and Algorithmic Trading since 2012. He leads projects that are focused on MLOps, enabling Deep Learning's practical applications to Cybersecurity and Financial research.

Co-Founder & CISO
Dean is a credentialed practitioner in Cyber Insurance. He's well-versed in both legacy insurance industry as well as the evolving insurtech's landscape. He leads projects focused on Data Science and Cyber Insurance.

Liang has been working in high-frequency trading (HFT) field as a C++ developer for many years.

Iris has worked in big-four accounting firm as Audit Manager, then a VP in compliance for a global commercial bank.

Elaine is IRS-certified Enrolled Agent, and has worked in taxation for many years.

Tim is a research fellow at the Metroppolitan Museum of New York. He is also a popular travel blogger, a guitarist, and videotographer.
